About ChinaSourcingKit

Last updated 2026-10-17

ChinaSourcingKit is an independent guide and a set of free browser tools for people who buy goods from China: a supplier legitimacy checker, a landed cost calculator and an RFQ builder. There is no account and nothing to install.

How it works

  • Everything runs in your browser. What you type or choose stays on your device; nothing is uploaded.
  • Results are computed, not typed in. The examples on each page are produced by the same code the tool runs, and the code is tested against independently calculated results.
  • Third-party material used on the site is listed on the credits page.

If a tool gives a wrong result, please tell us through the contact page.

What this site is not

  • It is not a marketplace, not a sourcing agent and not a supplier directory. It does not sell, broker or recommend suppliers.
  • It has no referral or affiliate arrangement with Alibaba or any other platform, and does not use any platform’s logo or styling.
  • It does not call any company fake. The checker shows signals and the evidence behind them, and says plainly that it is not an audit or a guarantee.
  • Not affiliated: ChinaSourcingKit is not affiliated with or endorsed by Alibaba.com, 1688, Made-in-China.com, Global Sources, DHgate or any other platform; names are used only to describe which platform a fact or rule applies to.

Where the facts come from

Every rule in the checker and every figure in the guides comes from a page we opened, and the page names it with the date we read it. Where an official page could not be opened we say so and say what we used instead. Platform pages describe how the platforms see themselves; where we use a sourcing agent’s blog we say it is an agent’s blog. If you find a mistake, tell us through the contact page.

Who runs it

ChinaSourcingKit is owned and operated by SKYSEED TECH LLC. You can write to us at support@chinasourcingkit.com.

Advertising

The site is free to use. We may show advertising in future to pay for hosting and development. If we do, ads will be labelled “Advertisement”, will never cover a tool, and are described in the privacy policy.
